Steps to Home Ownership
We share your excitement about your new residence and look forward to having you work with us to have your home built.
We strive to consistently maintain that quality in the construction of all our homes. It is our goal to maintain a consistent standard that allows us to provide maximum value to our customers through quality control, price control, and customer service.
1. Purchasing Your Home
You will use several standard forms when you buy your new home. These include the New Home Agreement of Sale (referred to as "purchase agreement") and several addenda. The purchase agreement becomes binding only when all parties have signed all forms and addenda.
2. Communications During Construction
Questions about construction of your home should be directed through our Sales and Marketing Department. One of our representatives will take immediate steps to communicate your question to the responsible Quality Built Homes personnel.
3. Arranging Your Loan
Within ten days of signing your purchase agreement, you will choose your lender and settlement agent from the Preferred List. Your lender's job is to understand your particular financial circumstances completely. You will review all information on the application at your meeting with the loan officer.
4. New Home Selections
Part of the fun of buying a new home is selecting features, finish materials, and colors. You will make these choices at the Quality Built Homes, Inc.'s Design Center. As you make choices for your new home, consider your present and future lifestyle.
5. Construction of Your Home
The building department of the city or county where your home is to be located must review and approve the plans and specifications for your home. Your specifications become part of our agreements with trade contractors and suppliers.
6. Homeowner Orientation
Your homeowner orientation is an introduction to your new home and its many features. We follow a preplanned agenda and a set route through the home to assure that we cover everything.
7. Closing on Your Home
At closing the ultimate purpose of your purchase agreement is achieved: Ownership of your new home is transferred to you.
